About the QPHRN
General Introduction to the QPHRN
Created in 2002, the Quebec Population Health Research Network (QPHRN) brings together some 600 researchers in Quebec who work on public health and populations, health services and policies and health and society. Its mission is to support research infrastructure as well as innovative and multidisciplinary scientific activities and production, to promote the training of the next generation of researchers through funding for higher education, and to promote knowledge sharing. Its ultimate objective is to identify, understand and take action on the social determinants of health in order to improve population health. Dr. Gilles Paradis is the Scientific Director.
The QPHRN is funded by the Fonds de la recherche en santé du Québec (FRSQ).
